Villa Nozzole Chianti Classico is made with the oldest grapes grown in Nozzole Estate, located in Greve in Chianti region at about 350 mts a.s.l.

Sangiovese: 90%
Colorino: 10%
Yield of grapes in to wine: approximately 60%.
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
The grapes harvest occurs in the second half of October. Vinification takes place in the cellar of Nozzole Estate. Alcoholic fermentation process occurs in stainless steel wine tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C with maceration lasting approximately 20 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs. Ageing process: 13 months in French oak barriques.
Bottle ageing: minimum 6 months.
SENSORY EVALUATION
Villa Nozzole Chianti Classico has a solid ruby red colour, with violet hues.
Bouquet of ripened fruits, chocolate and vanilla notes.
Full bodied flavour, with soft tannins and persistent back taste. Complements: meat, poultry and cheeses.
